In short, our Sales CRM allows you to:
- Create Sales Pipelines for different stages: Lead, Contacted, Qualified, Proposal Made…
- Create Deals, representing business opportunities, that you can move from one stage to another, either manually or automatically
- Create Deal Activities, to organize your daily schedule: phone calls, meetings, tasks, emails, business lunches…
Let's dig into it a bit deeper…
The idea here is to create a sales pipeline that fits your business. This sales pipeline is fully customizable, which means that you can choose the number of stages, as well as the name and color of each stage…
This is completely up to you!
For example, you could have 4 different stages in your sales pipeline:
- Proposal Made
Here is what this sales pipeline would look like:
In case you use multiple sales processes in your business or run multiple businesses, you can create multiple sales pipelines. You can create as many as you want.
Deals are like business opportunities… If someone shows interest in your product or service (by opting in or getting in touch with you), this person becomes a lead.
You may then create a deal for this new lead in your sales pipeline, either manually or automatically. We'll talk about automation later…
Once created you can move deals from one stage to another. For example, a lead entering your sales pipeline would first be in the “Lead” stage. Once you've got in touch with this person, the deal would be moved from the “Lead” stage to the “Contacted” stage, and so on… You get the idea!
You can add multiple contacts to a deal, as well as attach files: presentations, quotes, invoices… You can also set a value (in dollars) and add tags.
Here is what a deal looks like:
Each deal should be assigned to a team member: either yourself or one of your sales representatives.
Deal activities are actions that are part of your sales process. These actions will help you organize your day-to-day schedule and make progress.
This is even more useful if you have sales representatives, so they know what they have to do when they start work in the morning.
Here are the different types of activities:
For example, you could create a “Phone Call” activity for later in the week. You can of course set a reminder, so you are reminded before the call and don't forget about it and prepare for it…
New “Deals” & “Activities” Tab in CRM
Speaking of deals and activities, note that you can view and even create deals, as well as manage activities directly from the Platformly CRM.
If you open a contact's page and click on the “Deals” tab, you will see all the deals this contact is involved in. You can create a new deal by clicking on the + button.
If you click on “Activities”, you will see all the activities this contact is involved in, for example, calls, meetings… You can of course manage activities from here, meaning you can create new activities, as well as edit and delete existing ones.
We also created a new “Organizations” section where you can create, as you would have guessed, organizations. The idea here is to better organize your contacts as well as view all deals, contacts, activities and files, by organization.
To create your first organization, simply hover over “CRM” in the top menu and click on “Organizations”.
Then, simply select this organization from the contact's page, as shown below:
You will then be able to see all associated deals, contacts, activities and files under this organization in the “Organizations” section.
Imagine several of your contacts work for the same organization, you would select this organization for all of them, so every time a deal involving one of them is created, it would be listed under this organization in the “Organizations” section.
When creating a team account, you now have the option to make this person a “salesperson” and give him/her access to specific pipelines.
You will also be able to view all deals, activities and files, by sales representative, as shown below:
Please note that you can also create a team account for your “sales manager”.
You can of course automate different aspects of your sales process, using our new automation builder. For example, you could set up an automation so a deal is created and added to the “Lead” stage every time someone opts in.

- Deal Stage Changed
- Deal Status Changed
- Enters a Deal Pipeline
- Has Deal in Stage
- Has Deal with Status
- Has Deal with Value
- Has Total Number of Deals
- Add a Deal
- Update Deal Field Value
- Change Deal Status
- Add a Note to a Deal
- Change Deal Stage
- Add a Deal Activity
- Mark as Done a Deal Activity
These new triggers, conditions and actions can also be used in automation rules, as shown below:
